Q: Is previous experience in owning your own business required?
No. Whilst previous experience of owning your won business and managing a team is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. Alive Clinics welcomes first time business owners with the right personality, drive and passion for their future in business and will monitor and support you along your journey to success.

Q: Do I have to be a Doctor to own an Alive Clinic?
No. Ask our Franchise Manager about our Partnership Program.

Q: Is previous experience in the Cosmetic or Beauty Industry required?
No. The most important thing is that you are focussed on customer service, enjoy leadership, working with a team and have a love of the Cosmetic Surgery industry.

Q:  Is training provided?
Yes. Training is critical in your development as an Alive franchisee and one that we are committed to. The four step training process is:

  1. The Alive Clinics operations manual will be provided once your franchise documentation and sale is complete. This manual contains information on all facets of the business and will give you a great insight into the systems, policies and procedures overlaid in every Alive Clinic. You are encouraged to read this manual and sign off on competencies in each area as the first step.


  2. It is now time to commence your ‘one on one’ training with our Head Office Team. This will occur prior to your clinic opening date and will require 4 weeks of your time. During this course you will be trained in the correct operation of your Alive Clinic Franchise. Each of the operation modules will be worked through in a classroom environment while you will also be exposed to a working Alive Clinic.


  3. The week prior to your Clinic opening will be spent training and inducting your new team and completing specialist technical training within your Clinic. We will also use this time to help you set up your Clinic for trading.


  4. A member of the Alive Clinic field will be allocated to your Clinic for the first week of trading to help you settle in and to cover any unforseen challenges that you may encounter.

Q: Am I required to work in the Clinic?
Not necessarily. The Alive system allows for both hands-on and absentee owners. All franchise owners are required to go through the pre-opening training program and to demonstrate the competencies required to run a successful Alive franchise. Whether you are in the store day to day or working from elsewhere, you will need to understand, train and lead your team ongoing in all systems, policies and procedures.

Q: Which territories are available?
Upon receipt of you application the Alive Team will offer you a list of limited and exclusive Territories in your chosen area. Currently limited, exclusive territories are available in most states.

Q: How long until I am up and running?
The timing of your store opening is dependant on the franchise documents being prepared and signed, lease commencement date, Clinic design approval, shop fit-out period and completion of all training. Our Specialist Leasing Consultant can negotiate the commercial terms of the lease, including the handover date on the approved tenancy.

A date suitable to you, to the landlord and to the Alive Clinics support team will be determined once all factors are confirmed. A documented schedule of events will guide you through this process. A period of between 6 and 12 weeks should be allowed.

Q: What will my initial investment be?
The average investment range required to open an Alive Franchise is from $150,000 to $350,000+. Considerations such as the size, condition and location of the tenancy housing your Clinic vary from one to another. Existing or leased equipment that meets approval may substantially reduce this initial cost.  Limited Partnership positions are also available at 50% for suitable candidates. Our Franchise Manager can discuss this option if it is available to you. On rare occasions existing premises that meet our high leasing standards may qualify for an Alive Conversion. This is something the Franchise Manager can discuss with you, permitting you are a suitable candidate.

Your initial investment will cover:

  • Franchise territory.
  • Clinic design and plans.
  • Stock and Medical equipment.
  • Comprehensive franchisee training (four weeks at National Office).
  • Operations Manual containing systems, policies and procedures.
  • Legal fees
  • Unique Point of Sales System

Q: Are there any on-going fees after the Clinic opens?
Yes. You pay on-going royalty of 8% of gross turnover fortnightly. This covers all ongoing business and clinical mentors and field support. There is no additional percentages are required to be contributed to National Office.

Q: What kind of return can I expect?
Turnover varies from location to location. Current Alive Clinics experience rapid growth.

Q: Do you only want to work for Alive Clinics?
We recruit Doctors, Nurses, Therapist and Naturopaths. Please fill out Employment Application Form.

Q: Do you want to own your own Clinic?
We have Australia wide opportunities in limited locations that are now available. Our owners are Doctors, Therapists, Nurses or Business People or a combination of both.
